About The Baltimore Chapter

The CEO Club Of Baltimore was founded by Douglas A. Strouse, Ph.D. Doug is currently the Managing Partner of WEXLEY Consulting, a nationally renowned firm that specializes in employee selection, performance management and appraisal, executive coaching, and sales assessments. He also has more than 15 years of experience in the legal services field when he was president of one of the largest litigation services firm in the Baltimore/Washington corridor. He also has extensive management and operational experience as an executive of several multi-million dollar companies with responsibilities for international subsidiaries. Additionally, Doug has consulted for numerous Fortune 500 type corporations. Doug received his Ph.D. with emphasis in Organizational Management and Organizational Psychology in 1982 from Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C. His dissertation, Dimensions of Job Satisfaction and Stress, was published by Catholic University Press. Also, while an undergraduate at the University of Maryland, College Park, Doug played varsity baseball in the early 70's. erviews local business leaders in an interactive format. Doug has also served on the board for numerous corporations and non-profit organizations.  

Doug has advised organizations in such areas as: leadership and management development, performance management and appraisal systems, organizational change and development system analysis, strategic planning and executive coaching. Doug has also spoken extensively on these subjects to various groups throughout the United States. He is a Managing Partner of Wexley Consulting, an internationally known consulting firm that offers practical solutions to enhance organizational, as well as individual effectiveness.

Doug is also the co-author of the book - The Secrets of Resilient Leadership published in 2010 by Diamedica Press in NYC. More recently, he co-authored the book Stronger - Develop the Resilience You Need To Succeed published by the American Management Association. Additonally, he has written more than 125 professional articles too.

Doug is also very active in the business community. He is currently President of the Chief Executive Officers Club (CEO) of Baltimore a 501{C}3 non-profit organization which strives to provide a forum to educate executives of small, mid-size and larger companies such as AOL, whose founder, Steve Case is a lifetime member. Additionally, he facilitates a Presidential Advisory Council (PAC), a sub-group of the CEO Club which acts as a board of advisors for its members. Doug also hosted "The Maryland Business Review", a weekly radio show on WBAL that interviews local business leaders in an interactive format. Doug has also served on the board for numerous corporations and non-profit organizations.
